Refexology
Applies acupressure
and massage
to the ears, hands, legs and feet with the

parts of the body. The benefits are improved
circulation, detoxification, reduced tension
and the body’s ability to heal itself meant
to bring about physiological and
psychological changes in the body.

Deep Tissue
A type of therapy using lotion/oil that focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It is especially helpful for chronically tense and contracted areas such as stiff necks, low back tightness, and sore shoulders.

Feather Stroke and Rocking
This technique combines light gentle strokes on the surface of the skin, and rhythmic rocking movements applied to various parts of the body. It also awakens circulation and encourages lymph flow, ridding the body of excess fluid retention. Feather stroke and rocking create a nurturing and caring effect, while inducing a feeling of peaceful calm.

Hot Stone Therapy
This ancient form of massage uses water heated smooth stones to warm the body, ease tension and relax the mind all while providing penetrating heat to deep muscles. The stones are placed on key points on the body and the therapist may also hold the stones and use them to massage other areas of the body. This causes increased circulation and boosting of the immune system that makes this experience therapeutic as well as extremely enjoyable.

Shiatsu
Unblocks and stimulates energy flow of the meridians (energy channels). Utilizes palm and finger pressure, as well as stretching techniques, rotation of joints, and specific body positioning. Loose, comfortable clothing suggested.

Hydrotherapy
Involves the therapeutic use of water to treat or prevent disease. Hydrothermal therapy uses steam inhalation, hot and/or cold compresses, body wraps, and salt glow (also great for full body exfoliation). Water has a hydrostatic effect. This massage stimulates touch receptors on skin, boosting blood circulation.

Sports Massage
Used primarily for the serious athlete who trains continuously, it focuses on the muscles relevant to the particular athletic activity. It also includes pre-event, post-event and maintenance techniques that promote greater athletic endurance and performance and lessen chances of injury and reduce recovery time.

Lymphatic Massage
Lymphatic massage or lymph drainage massage is a technique used to help increase lymph flow. Using long flowing stroke, it increases lymph flow, removes harmful substances from the tissues and increases immune function. Can also be useful in cases of edema, sports injury or for people experiencing a sluggish immune system and those suffering from a lack of energy.

Swedish Massage
Warm lotion/oil is applied to the body for a relaxing, nurturing, and therapeutic massage that combines multiple techniques. Relieves muscular tension while promoting circulation and a fuller range of motion as well as increasing energy, concentration and alertness. Can be applied with light, firm or deep pressure.

Myofascial Release
This form of therapy uses kneading-style strokes that are meant to stretch, loosen, soften and lengthen muscles and connective tissue; great for unblocking any scar tissue or adhesions due to injury in the muscles and surrounding tissues. Also intended for pain relief, increasing range of motion, better postue and balancing the body.

Offers a nurturing, safe and relaxing way to rid the common discomforts associated with pregnancy. It incorporates Swedish, Shiatsu, feather stroke and gentle rocking. Gives mothers to be tranquil relaxation and reduce stress. It also relieves muscle cramps, spasms, and myofascial pain, especially in the lower back, neck, hips, and legs. It increases blood and lymph circulation, which can reduce swelling and reduces stress on weight-bearing joints.

Trigger Point Therapy
Also known as Myotherapy or Neuromuscular Therapy applies concentrated finger pressure to "trigger points", a painful irritated areas in muscles, to break cycles of spasm and pain. Minimal client/therapist communication is needed.
